“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn’t as individuals. When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility, we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self-confidence and inner healing.” - Jean Vanier

How Community Support Can Help You Do the Impossible

As a gym owner, I’ve seen firsthand how community involvement, encouragement, and support can turn the impossible into reality. It’s incredible what you can achieve when you're surrounded by people who believe in you, push you, and celebrate your victories, no matter how small.

We often think that our limitations are set in stone, but when you’re part of a community, those boundaries shift. You begin to see challenges as opportunities, and fear turns into motivation. Our members lift each other up—whether it’s hitting a new PR, learning a new skill, or just showing up on a tough day. That energy is contagious and powerful.

In the upcoming event, we’re not just aiming to hit numbers or break records—we’re aiming to grow together, push beyond our limits, and show what can be done when we support each other.

When one of us wins, we all win.

CrossFit Journal Article of the Week: Meal Plans by Greg Glassman

Our recommendation to “eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar” is adequate to the task of preventing the scourges of diet-induced disease, but more accurate and precise prescription is necessary to optimize physical performance.

Finely tuned, a good diet will increase energy, sense of well being and acumen, while simultaneously flensing fat and packing on muscle. When properly composed the right diet can nudge every important quantifiable marker for health in the right direction.
